Exciting News Direct from Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market:
“The Broad Ripple Farmers Market is expanding to Wednesday evenings in the main parking lot of Broad Ripple Park, just a few blocks from our Saturday location at Broad Ripple Magnet High School.
Starting June 1st, those of you who have “Saturday morning ball games or other commitments that keep you from visiting us will be able to come out to the park mid-week from 5-8 p.m. and enjoy the Market experience.
The new Wednesday Market will be comprised of many of the same vendors who make up our Saturday Market, but there will be some new additions, as well. The first Market will launch with about 30 vendors, be family and dog-friendly, and staffed by the same volunteers who support the Saturday Market.
“We are very excited to make a mid-week Market available to the greater Broad Ripple community.” says Barbara Wilder, Market Master. “We understand that not everyone is able to participate in our Saturday Market, and we hope by offering a midweek Market, more people will have access to the local produce, good food and good fun that the Saturday Market is known for.’”
